To professionally attach the vinyl to the surface, use heat presses like the Easy Press or LookLick press. After heat pressing the vinyl, wait 24 hours before washing. You can use LookLick Teflon paper to protect the surface from high heat during ironing. Wash and dry after turning the fabric inside out. Do not use bleach, and if you need to iron the clothes, only iron the back side.
